"Bosch PS50-2A-RT will be the the earliest reconditioned device I ever acquired (along with a recon Bosch Bulldog at the exact same time - no issues with Bulldog). I felt like I was taking a danger, but I'm glad I did. My boss bought a brand new 1 and mine came looking and working just as beneficial, for $80 some much less. I wanted the Fein for years, but here's the deal. The Fein can be a good device, no doubt, I've employed a couple of them. Its also pricey. $200+ for that most fundamental kit that has no case, and I like my methods in cases when I can. The blades are also very high-priced. The Bosch blades aren't affordable either, but a lot much easier around the wallet. Far more right after marketplace blades are coming out there. I am nevertheless waiting to recieve some, so I do not know if the quality will stack up.
The huge knock on this instrument is battery everyday living. First, rest assured that this doesn't mean power, it has plenty. Run time could be the issue, but I say that's no difficulty at all. Some say the battery only lasts much less than five minutes in continuous use. What, are you ripping 2X4's with it? This resource does not take the location of a circular, reciprocating, jig-, or any other sort of saw that should get those jobs accomplished. So why have this instrument? The flush and plunge cutting wood blades are all I am thinking about. Bosch PS50-2A-RT can't be beat for, say, undercutting door jambs and casing for new hardwood or tile floors, or trimming back current base for a brand new door or new wider casing. To be a trim carpenter its great, more quickly and additional precise than the old methods of doing issues with hand saws and chisels.
